Another fruitful weekend.
Oh yes, it was.
It was FARN-TAS-TIC! We had AI conference.
Am impacted and was blown away by everything Pastors shared.
Love that feeling of hearts clicking with one another.
You know that God is working and moving in His house. You just know it.
You will if you have not. We had a long day today.
Started worship team training at 12 in the afternoon and it ended at 10pm
Stretching yet fun.
Did loads of cool stuff.
and, we grew.
oh oh oh, i am going to study with my classmates tomorrow.
yes i am.
Have long forgotten the feeling of studying with classmates.
after that, head to school :)

oh yes, this was something Pei Shan and i concluded after trying to keep melvin awake during class last Saturday.

Things are going back to normal now.

and i love that feeling.
Met Nicholas, Jordan, Wen Qian and Shi ni yesterday.
it was quite a random thing.
Didn't really plan to meet them.
It has been a long time since we had heart to heart meetings.
It started and ended off well.we shared alot.
I see them becoming the next generation of great leaders.
I pray that they will be like the current batch of leaders in F2.
They will work together and flow with each other so so so well.
and they will work as a team. TEAMWORK :)

Ask me about my life and I will say that it is better than yours.
I can imagin what i will become if i'm not a Christian.
I would probably think that life is all about going out with my girl-friends,catching the latest movie in town and doing all the crazy stuffs together.
I still remembered those days when pastor lia spent time with my cousins and I to get us saved.
Every Tuesday, we will go for an "excursion". Better known as integration outing. HAHA.
We would eat, shop & Shop & shop and finally, end off everything by catching a movie.
Sometimes, we will visit animal farms.
Am talking to Chun Kit now and he thinks that he is very cute.
He is Mr chunky monkey from funkey town and he thinks that he is very cool.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PST LIA!
it was more than just a birthday celebration today,
more than just getting the songs and dance items up.
i belive that everyone felt the presence of God during worship at the end of the celebration.
Pst Lia led the church and we prayed for grandma.
went home with some Hougang & Sengkang people.
talked to Jeremy Lim and realised that he knows quite alot about my family.
my grandma, my long lost cousin, uncles and aunties.
mannnn...
As i looked back, many "snap-shot moments" started to flash across my mind.
How grandma took care of my sister and I when my parents had to work.
Without fail, call us up everyday to make sure that we had our lunch/dinner.
Spend her sundays at my home after attending church.
On her way to my house, she would buy liang teh for us.
telling us that we need to drink lots of these.
Go to Long Beach to have dinner together.
Pray for my sister and I to have more confidence when taking our exam.
During PSLE, she would pray for me at home while i sit for my papers.
sometimes, cook for us when we are hungry.
she is our super grandmother.

Was just reading jia xin's blog.
I do agree that she has that amazing ability to wake up in the middle of the night to answer a call ,talk to someone not knowing what the person is saying yet seem like she understood every single thing.
go back to sleep again and wake up the next morning not knowing who she talked to.
because it happened to me before.
I was talking to her, telling her loads of important details and then, she smsed me the next day asking me to repeat
everything.
mannn..i nearly killed her.
Well, for myself, im different from her. I will wake up in the middle of the night, answer the call and listen to what
that person has got to say. A few seconds into our conversation, and i will go back to sleep without saying bye.
Sometimes, i can't even remember what i said to that person on the line.
This is definetly not an amazing ability to me.
Then, there are people who will call you and don't get the hint that you are sleeping.
they will call you and ask "are you asleep?"
you will say "yes", and not saying more so that you can cut the conversation and go back to sleep.
after that, they will start to bombard you with all the things they've got to say to you.
sometimes, people just don't get the hint.
And so, her heart was praying

I was the first to complete it. While Maril and cheryl took a longer time to complete it.

Ended F2 chalet 2 days ago and it was FAR-BU-LARS!
Above all the fun we had together,
We had a great worship session and i believe that God has moved many hearts.
felt the thick presence of God during the 'Passion of the Christ' screening.
It was more than just a movie.
I believe, and i know that God has instilled a great destiny and plan for F2.
Zone F will have the abilities of young king David.
Like fighter planes, we will be launched forth one after the other.
Fighting for what is right, doing majestic things in the kingdom of God.
building a world class church in a first world nation together with our pastors and leaders.
A generation of warriors.
Leona is my new good friend.
he is super funny.
Reached home and he sent me a sms, here is our conversation,
LEONA: wah sian, my room no light!
Cheryl: oh man! what happened? <------at this moment, i thought there was no electricity in his house

Had a great day today!it was Egg-citing. Went to GIANT with the chalet team to buy all the food and necesities.
Oh man, it was AWESOME.
we made a check list and brought a calculator along to ensure that we do not spend over the budget.
saved quite alot actually :)

After buying everything, we went to Wayne's house.

The secret to this is... protein powder!! i found this in wayne's house.

She spent thousands of dollars on it.

We marinated the chicken wings with Coke, light sauce, pepper and sesame oil.
I hope nothing will go wrong tomorrow.
They said that coke will make the chicken taste sweeter.

The art of team work.
Recently, the leaders in F2 and B2 have developed a strong relationship with each other.
i don't know why, but it just happened. HAHA
When the leaders of both CGs meet, there is a power of teamwork.
I just cant describe.
We are not in the same CG, however when we come together, it feels like we are one.
A beautiful fusion.
We think and work the same lingo.
Meeting Nadine, Sin fei and the rest of them is just so amazing.
you get to see how they work with people and on the other hand, they get to see how F2 operates.
its like a cultural exchange, not physically but spiritually.
All these while, we have always been focusing on teamwork.
The leaders support one another by filling in the gaps.
We are not just looking at our team, but beyond it.
Going into one another's team to raise people up, its more than just "my team".
we build our people around pastors and leaders.
This is the power of teamwork.

It has been 10 years since we first met at the house church, 17 countryside Road.
After that, moved to Henderson, Douby Ghaut and currently, Singpost
They have all grown up and look really different.
In children church, we would always quarrel!
bach then, my cousins and I were better known as the CHAN FAMILY.
these were the only times when my cousins and i will be united as one.haaaa.
oh well,we didn't really bother to know their names.
Its the CHANs VS the LIMs
Its really funny.
We quarrelled over everything.
During games, service etc.
You've got to meet them man!
but things are different now,
we would talk about how we have come this far and ran this race together.
How we treated and hated one another.
How we nearly killed each other.HAHA
And all those cool mushroom, crocodile and frog farm outings.
it was FUN!

During our worship prac just now, daniel said that i have a very big mouth.

Remembered those times when i stayed over at her house and did all the crazy stuffs with her.
She will do horrendous make-ups on me and I will look hideous.
I had red rosy china doll cheeks and blue black panda eyes due to the extensive use of make-up.
Oh well, I love her :) I was young then and did not know anything.
I would agree to anything that she says as she was older than me.
Even when i look hideous after the make-ups, she would say that i look cool and great.
Of course, i believed her. This is my great and awesome cousin.
it is great serving in church together with them.

Went to St Andrews Secondary today together with Wayne to meet some people!
it was fun.
Met people like Leona, Wei Hao and Issac.
They were sharing about how school is like in St andrews.
Currently, there are 10 of them in Zone F!
Sounds rather fun:)
Jordan joined us later as he had some test to do.
He ran straight to the canteen right after his class ended.
Greeted us with that overwhelming smile:)

I saw their DM!
so funny, they shared about their horrible encounters with him. His name is Jeffery
Jordan was canned by him. 3 times!
they saw him on the first day of school and thought that he was some newly hired cleaner, due to his overgrown white bob hairstyle.
but wondered why he was holding onto a cane.
Thought that he probably picked it up from the floor.but he was the new DM!

I had a great day today:)

Met Chew ting at Orchard mrt and we went starbucks!Read christian books.
And it was great.
Recently, we had a common interest- Buy books..more books and stock them up.
HAHA, but have no time to read everything.
Just happen that we were free today and had no plans.
You guys should try doing that man!
Chew ting is an AUNTY.
After buying our coffee, she went over to the milk dispenser and poured a cup of milk.
Took the chocolate powder and started to mix it with the milk, she wanted to make Choco milk
She used almost everything!
Asked her why and she said "When we come starbucks, we must make sure that we make full use of everything available!"
Then she went over to the counter again to get more whip cream.
well, all i can say is that she has a typical Singaporean spirit inside of her. VGOOD!:)
It was a $7 Mocha Frappe anyway.might as well make full use of everything.HAHA

Then Pei Shan came along to meet us,
She has a very very bad sense of direction.
Well, i shall not talk about it.

Going back to a secondary school to teach guitar is AMAZING!
even though i can only play- G C Em D!haha
Love being around the lower sec.
That overwhelming pure and innocent look on their face:)
a student came to me once,asking if i could help him tune the guitar, i can't help but laugh to myself.
So, I turned to clarence and secretly said "eh..how ah?that guy is asking me to tune his guitar!"
oh well, but i know how to now.
Well, you need to understand,i learnt the guitar almost 5 years ago. So...ya... Forgot almost everything.
It was a great day today. ecstatic.
although we were a little lethargic at first.
Got to know more lower secs after today's session.
We had to get their individual photo to do a photo database. it was TOUGH man!and i mean it.
Girls being girls, went to the toilet to do up their hair, got their friends to take a photo of them.
some even wanted to go home to take a proper and nice photo of themselves.
As for the boys, oh man... they thought i really wanted their photo!!
It was funny. Like i said, pure and innocent :)
Met this sec 2 guy at the guitar club!
Oh man,he was my primary school, school bus mate!ahha
At first, he thought that i was the bus aunty who took care of him when he was on the bus! how sad :(
